The universities generate great part of the new scientific knowledge. The same it happens if, in addition, of a the generation of knowledge, we take care of its transference or the completion of developments with a noticeable enterprise interest. The University like institution, also plays an outstanding role in the Argentine system of I+D. Taking care of this the recent Law of Argentina Education it promotes to happen of a University of Napoleonic profile to a humboldtiana that causes the investigation within its sine.

To its time they have been beginning for more than ten years from the National Commission of Evaluation and Acreditacio'n Universitaria (CONEAU) an evaluation of the academic quality that contemplates inside of her like a point to consider the investigations that are made in the high houses of study of our country.

Considering these analyses of quality it seemed to us attractive to present this Doctoral Thesis Work with the idea to elaborate an academic classification or academic ranking of the Argentine, public and deprived universities, taking like criterion the publication from the investigations that make in their vestibules of Internet, the great public windows del knowledge.

Therefore, we see this proposal as a contribution the evaluation of the quality of the Argentine Universities measuring the criterion investigation, one of the fundamental aspects to that the institutions of superior education must be led, in addition, of the formation of professionals and the transference.
