In Korea, science and technology is largely regarded as a good tool for economic developments. In reality, citizens do not get interested in science and technology except edcuation or industrial economics. Korea is one of the advaced country by high technologies and the people usually use many high‐tech untilities, for example, GPS, mobile phoen, MPS, Digital camera and etc. Nevertheless, Korean society has a low perception on science itself or scientific career. To strengthen affimative cognition of the citizens on the science and technology, we develop and operate a program with the collaboration between university and local governments. University provides scientific resources including science contents and science communicators, and develops versatile programs. Local governments cooperate financially and administratively. Many children enjoy scientific experiemnts every week and take part in the science activities. Moreover their parents and grandparents begin to show up their interest in science program such as lectures, movies with scientific subjects. The people in the public service changed to be affirmative for the science program and activities.
