In China, sexual education used to be a taboo, which is related to the traditional education in there. People in the past thought it is shameful to talk about sex. Therefore, the way to obtain sexual knowledge for young Chinese in 20 years ago is merely restricted in several ways like reading relevant books and discussing themselves secretly. But in recent years young people began to have more and more access to sexual knowledge. Movies and the internet make young people can touch sex in a very little age, but without any regular sexual knowledge, which caused some problems about them. Besides, school has started sexual education for youth; mass media also offered sexual education through different ways. However, these ways do not meet the demand very well. My paper will talk about the works of sexual education by interpersonal communication, organization communication and mass communication; make a contrast of the ways and content of sexual education between present and past, and analyze the transition process, and also study the deficiency of contemporary education, then propose some more effective communication methods.
