The document states that PCST and IECA "acknowledge the shared interests between our organizations and communities and will seek to generate synergies and opportunities for collaboration around these".
There is some overlap of membership between PCST and IECA. Five members of the PCST Scientific Committee, who are also members of IECA, have had a paper published in the IECA journal, Environmental Communication, that explores “conversations, connections and collaborations” between science communication and environmental communication.
